Every journey, "they" say, starts with the first step. You crawl. Then you pull yourself up using any support available. Then come the bold moves away from your crutch as you venture out on your own. Maybe you run. Or maybe you stumble and fall flat on your you-know-what. Then what? You don't stop do you? Perhaps you do. But as a writer, aren't you encouraged to push forward, and look to those who came before you? As a writer might you think, WWHD? What Would Hemingway Do? And to paraphrase the old song, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again. So, as this new journey begins--an author website and blog--that's my pledge. I might not always get it right. Or the technical stuff might be a bit off. But I'll learn. There'll be a lot of picking up and dusting off. But most importantly, I'll do my best to start all over again. Thank you for coming along for the ride!
